Clamping it to the edge of my desk freed up a ton of space that my old fixed stand was hogging. Swiveling the tray toward the couch when I want to watch something is ridiculously handy, and it holds my 15-inch laptop without any wobble.

The rotation mechanism is buttery smooth, which makes switching between typing and demoing to a coworker effortless. It clamps on tight enough that I don't worry about it shifting during a busy workday.

The clamp holds my desk edge rock-solid even when I spin the tray to face the couch, and the rotation lock is a nice touch for when I'm typing. Setup took maybe ten minutes with the included hardware.
