The extra room through the shoulders makes reaching into the hive way easier than my old jacket. I've worn it for a full afternoon of inspections and never once got stung through the fabric.
Finally a jacket that actually fits my broad shoulders without choking me at the neck. The XXL sizing is generous, and I can wear it over a hoodie on chilly mornings without feeling restricted. Spent two hours inspecting frames last weekend and stayed completely covered the whole time.
First season with two hives and this jacket kept me sting-free through every inspection. The veil stays far enough off my face that I can actually see the frames, and the fabric doesn't turn into a sauna on an 80-degree afternoon.
