I was skeptical about clearing the space on my desk, but this converter fits right over my monitor stand and leaves plenty of room for my keyboard. The gas lift is steady and I can switch from sitting to standing with one hand, which makes my workday feel way less stiff.
The gas lift is smooth enough that I can raise it one-handed while holding my coffee in the other. My monitor stays rock-steady even when I'm typing aggressively, which was my biggest worry with a converter.
Set it up on my desk in about ten minutes and the height adjustment range is generous enough that I can finally ditch my separate monitor risers. The work surface holds my dual monitors and keyboard without any wobble even at full extension, which was my biggest worry.
