The scissor clamp grabbed onto the ceiling grid tight and hasn't budged since. Install took maybe fifteen minutes with just a screwdriver. My projector hangs level now instead of tilting like it did with the old shelf.
The white finish disappears into the ceiling tiles so well that I keep glancing up to make sure the projector is still there. The scissor clamp grips the grid firmly with no wobble, even when I bump the ladder against it during setup.
Installing it was pretty straightforward, and the scissor clamp grips the ceiling rails firmly enough that I don't worry about the projector drifting. The drop length is adjustable, so I got mine flush with the tile without any wobble after tightening everything down.
